Way forward and our strength
To advance Uganda’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a deliberate effort to involve citizens at all levels of governance is essential. Elections are crucial in promoting democracy and ensuring that local citizens are effectively represented, as outlined in Article 60 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda.
Every five years, citizens exercise their right to vote, fulfilling Article 1 (1-4) of the Constitution, which empowers them to elect leaders who are effective, efficient, and responsive to their needs. This process drives improved service delivery and ensures that leadership remains accountable and aligned with the needs of the community. The journey from understanding local needs to electing and representing leaders is continuous and requires active engagement at every stage.
In the 2026 general elections, I am running as the NUP candidate, bringing a unique advantage with my youthfulness, broad popularity across various demographics—including youth, women, men, and influential elders. My candidacy is strengthened by previous electoral experiences and support from across political divides, including NRM, FDC, UPC, and independent voters. Our campaign’s issue-based manifesto and effective canvassing methods, such as “door-to-door” outreach, have proven successful in connecting with voters and addressing their concerns.
Our goal is to secure over 385 votes per polling station out of 149 polling stations in the next general election. With extensive experience in election science, voter protection, and a determined team, we are confident in achieving a significant victory margin. As we prepare for the nomination of Parliamentary candidates between September 16th and 17th, 2025, we are committed to strategic preparation for a successful election.

Our campaign’s strength lies in our comprehensive approach to engaging with the community and leveraging our extensive network of supporters. With over 300 supporters per village and a proven track record of effective voter outreach, we are well-positioned to mobilize support and drive our campaign to success.
